Two men in their 60s and 65 were found dead in a villa in Piteå on Friday night.
On Saturday, a man was arrested in his 30s, suspected of two cases of murder.
Today he was arrested on sAnnolika Reasons suspected of two murders.
The alarm about the two men came to the police during Friday night, it is unclear when they died. On Tuesday, the man who was arrested was arrested.
– I have asked him to be arrested, but cannot comment on anything until after the hearing, says prosecutor Lindha Strömberg.
The detention hearing began at 13 in Luleå District Court, just over half an hour later the court announced that the man was arrested with restrictions.
Found by neighbor
The men must have been found by a neighbor who responded that the driveway to the villa had not been shot, reports Piteå-Tidningen. He knocked on and noticed that the door was unlocked. As he entered the home, he found the two men upstairs.
– It was horrible, says the neighbor to the newspaper.
Suspected of two cases of murder
According to the arrest request, the man in his 30s is suspected of two cases of murder that should have happened between Wednesday and Friday last week. The crime scene is reported to be the villa when the two men were found dead.
He has previously been convicted several times for less serious crime, but no more serious violent crimes.
Piteå-Tidningen reports that the police conducted a house search in the man’s apartment on Saturday after he was arrested. The apartment was blocked off and the prosecutor announced that the suspicions against him had been strengthened.
The man’s lawyer, Carolina Nilsson, states that the man denies crime.
