The 5 deadliest characters from Game of Thrones in the power ranking

Death is never far away in the dark world of Game of Thrones. It is not for nothing that the series is notorious for its brutality. But which character is the most dangerous and has most victims on their conscience?

What kind of ranking is that? Game of Thrones is teeming with dangerous characters of various kinds. Some are experienced swords, other skillful assassins or political intrigues. They are all fatal.

So to be able to compare which character is most dangerous, we look at the number of his victims. The Washington Post published extensive statistics in 2019 about all 6887 deaths in Game of Thrones.

A death was only counted if:

  • Death can be seen explicitly in the series
  • Death cannot be seen directly, but very clearly occurs after a specific scene
  • Death is not to be seen, but it is very prominent part of the action
  • Of course, the numbers are not 100 percent accurate. In action -packed battle scenes, for example, it is more difficult to determine the exact deaths. It gets even more complicated with dragons that entire groups can literally burn with one breath.

    5th place: Jon Snow

Jon Snow ends up in the last place in this ranking. Even if he knows little, he has 112 deaths on his conscience. The main reason for this is his skillful handling of long -clay, its sword made of valy royal steel.

Since childhood, Jon has been training for the fight almost every day. First with the sword master of the Starks, then during the training of the night watch. With his skills, he manages to survive even in the dangerous north beyond the wall.

Fittingly, he also achieves most deaths beyond the wall (season 7, episode 6). Jon and his companions are on an excursion to the north to catch an undead. They are attacked by a revenue army, of which Jon 42 can do. Admittedly, reveners have already been dead. But they just die again, which is why they were taken into account in the statistics.

    4th place: Cersei Lennister

At first glance, Cersei Lennister might not be suspected on this list. Because she is not a classic fighter. She prefers to act in the background and to spin political intrigues. Nevertheless, she killed 199 people.

Almost all of these deaths come from a single scene: the explosion of Baelor’s great septa (season 6, episode 10). A trial against Cersei should actually take place there. But it doesn’t appear. Instead, she uses the highly explosive seafire that the crazy king has stored in the catacombs under Königsmund and blows up the septa. This kills several of her rivals, including Margaery Tyrell and the high sparrows.
