(Finance) – unexpected decrease in Chinese manufacturing activity, in January.
According to what was calculated by Caixin The indicator dropped to 50.1 points from 50.5 of the previous month. The data is even worse than the expectations of the market that was expected a slight improvement of up to 50.6 points.
The indicator therefore remains below the critical threshold of 50 points, denoting the contraction of the activity.
