Spakenburg and IJsselmeervogels are often directly opposite each other. But on Friday they joined one to bring people who are struggling with Alzheimer’s, dementia and loneliness closer together. The concept of Alzheimer Nederland was already introduced 6 years ago at Willem LL in Tilburg, but ultimately has to be much bigger: “” We are now at 29 clubs, but we want to go to a multiple of this, “says project manager Arjen Pijfers. “Nineteen professional clubs are already participating. But the ultimate goal is: football memories at every club in the Netherlands around the corner.”
