This is how Belgium, and more precisely the city of Tournai, welcomed the cameras for a new unprecedented opus. The intrigue of Murders in Tournai It already looks like … intriguing! It all starts with the macabre discovery of an arm floating on the Scheldt, the river which crosses the pretty town of the flat country. Mathilde, a young Tournai police inspector, is in charge of the investigation. And a detail immediately draws his attention: the member is tattooed with a mysterious bee. The case is complicated when it turns out that the arm was able to derive long before failing under the bridge of the holes, famous local monument.
It is therefore impossible to locate with certainty the crime scene which could just as easily be in France, the Scheldt connecting the two countries. The French authorities then dispatched Vincent, a fine bloodhound, to support Mathilde. The Franco-Belgian tandem will have to navigate between boatmen with a troubled past and the symbolism of bees, a legacy of Childéric Ier which made Tournai the capital of the kingdom of the Franks in the 5th century.
