The man who was murdered in the Stockholm suburb of Husby on Wednesday is a close relative of the gang leader Rawa Majid, according to information to TV4 News.
In an interview with Aftonbladet says Majid’s father that he fears that the violence will only escalate.
– This will not end. There is no end, he tells the newspaper.
It was just before half past four on Wednesday afternoon that the police were alerted about a shooting in Husby in northwestern Stockholm. Once in place, they were able to find that a 65-year-old man was shot to death inside a convenience store.
According to information to TV4 News, the man was related to the gang leader Rawa Majid, also known as “Kurdish fox”. The man suspected of the murder was arrested at Solna District Court on Friday.
Aftonbladet has been in contact with Rawa Majid’s father.
– He was a great guy who had nothing to do with crime, he tells the newspaper.
“It will only continue”
Now Majid’s father fears that the violence will escalate further.
– All these groups are at war. If they do not get anyone now, they go on relatives, fathers, mothers and relatives. Innocent people! The police have no control over anything, he says.
He states that he does not know where his son is. They are heard sporadically, most recently after the murder the man who according to the information is a relative.
– No one will win it. It’s so boring. It will just continue, he says.
