Defends mentioned lending: “Not a loss of prestige”

BIK Karlskoga lent his success goalkeeper Samuel Jonsson to Färjestad last night.
A mentioned loan that TV4’s expert Fredrik Söderström is now defending.
– –
For me it is not a loss of prestige, it is not a submission that is embarrassed but it is a reality that one is related to, he says in TV4 Hockey pod.

Samuel Jonsson – who is registered as a reserve of Färjestad since before – sat on the bench to back up Damian Clara in Max Lagacé’s absence when FBK beat Timrå last night.

Karlskoga’s choice to approve the loan – which, however, only applied for one evening – became a bit of a snack yesterday, but both Almen Bibic and Fredrik Söderström understand the club’s choice.

-I think Karlskoga sees the bigger picture here, building a relationship with Färjestad that is of the strongest clubs we have in Sweden with everything from economics to player material, says Bibic in TV4 Hockey pod and continues:

– To build such a relationship in the long term and get something back later – that you have it “on” them – I see that as something very smart. Samuel is a great goalkeeper, but you stand pretty safe with Lars Volden. It is a strong team. So for me, this is to care for the club relationship in a very smart way. You are close to each other, and Färjestad is a giant in this context. Then Karlskoga knows well about his place in the food chain as well.

“So is reality”

Fredrik Söderström says that Karlskoga only relates to reality that the hockeyall Swedish clubs are in, and holds Bibic that you will probably be able to benefit from it in the long run.

– There are players in Färjestad – when they get whole and healthy – who could be over and who could be players like Karlskoga could never come across in any other way. It may also be that there is reasoning in agreements between players and club (about such situations). So I don’t think this is as dramatic as we have a tendency to do it sometimes, he says, and states:

– So here is the reality. For me, it is not a loss of prestige, it is not a submission that is embarrassed but it is a reality that one relates to.
