Since 1 August 2023, a ban on the use of hard drugs on the street applies in Utrecht. In addition to that ban, another measure is sometimes applied. When someone causes nuisance, the person can be denied access to an area. The municipality can do that near the Lucasbolwerk, the Hieronymusplantsoen and Park Lepelenburg.
