Counter-Strike: Group B qualifiers for the Global Offensive Major Tournament will continue on Friday in Bucharest, Romania.
Aleksi “Alexib” Estonian represented by G2 in the opening match on Thursday suffered a shock defeat against Polish Anonymo. The G2, which was ranked number one in the tournament, bowed to the top five in the qualifiers in the extra time.
In the afternoon match, G2 managed to overthrow Sangal, so G2, who won silver from the Stockholm majors, will leave for Friday with one win and one loss. The Finnish ENCE team, which won Team Spirit in their first match but lost to Astralis on Thursday night, has the same fate. The team is coached Eetu “sAw” Saw.

Later in the afternoon, Match Day continues with the Best of Three series, where the first major participants in Group B will be decided. The tournament venues will be played first by Players and Astralis, then by NIP and Copenhagen Flames.
