Thomas Ravelli’s fine memory with Leif “Loket” Olsson from Bingolotto

The popular host and former handball judge Leif “Loket” Olsson has gone out of time.
Thomas Ravelli shares some fond memories from when he visited “Loket” in the “Bingolotto” studio.
– I thought he was a fun dot, Ravelli tells the Sports Bible.

On Thursday, the legendary and hugely popular “bingolotto” host fell asleep Leif “Loket” Olsson in. He turned 82 years old. About a month ago, he had moved into a retirement home.

Ravelli’s word about Leif “Loket” Olsson

“Loket” began his career as a handball judge and burned for the sport. He sentenced, among other things, one of the Olympic semi-finals in Munich in 1972. Later in life he became better known as program manager on television. One of those who visited him a few times in “Bingolotto” and who, just like Leif Olsson is associated with Gothenburg, is Thomas Ravelli65.
– I just read it. I knew he was not so great anymore, but it is always a great shock that someone goes away. That’s it. You get up to age, says Ravelli when the Sports Bible reaches him on the phone.

The former football goalkeeper was named “Gothenburg Citizen of the Year” in 1994, the same year he joined and combed home the legendary World Cup bronze in the United States. The year before it was the “locomotive” that received the honorable award. They have met over the years in their hometown. But also part of the television industry.
– I was at the beginning of “Bingolotto” when it was broadcast locally I just remember. It may have been in 1992 maybe, 1991. I was with some time and gave someone a thick TV, a small one that I even used. There were not many inches on it I can say. I have run on him, but I had no personal relationship with him. But we have met and then he has taken care of the “Sports Gala” too, so I have met him both at “Bingolotto” and a little private too, says Ravelli.

Thomas Ravelli met Leif “Loket” Olsson on several occasions in life. They were not close friends, but still liked and respected each other.
– I thought he was a fun dot. I did some stuff with him here too in the Gothenburg area when we took care of some celebrations and so … when he was a program manager and commentator. Then I was a little more aidger sometimes. I remember him as a very funny dot. He was a great program manager for “Bingolotto” for many years and could take people in the right way and talk to people in a good way too, he says.

He understands why the Swedes have been the host, who had the ability to talk to all types of people and make them feel safe and comfortable.
– He was a simple person it felt like. Easy to deal with, he says.
