Estelle Bernström stood in the kitchen, in the middle of the New Year, when a note from 1177 shook everything. The biopsy from the tissue around her breast implants was completed. “Big cell lymphoma” it said on the screen, which might mean losing more than just the breasts. Around 2018, she suffered a pain in her right breast that refused to bring. But in the fall of 2024 it felt worse than usual and when her concern was once again dismissed by primary care, she wrote a self -referral. – In December I got to the breast center in Västerås and do a mammography and a biopsy.
