The Swedish ski star still chose to join the Tour de Ski but now she is missing again. Neither in Swiss Engadin last weekend nor Italian Cogne this weekend Andersson will come to the starting line.

With the ski World Cup approaching by storm, the worry is clearly growing for Ebba. But now she talks about why she is missing in the ski tracks.
Ebba’s honest words
Ebba Andersson admits that everything is according to plan to get as well prepared for the World Cup in Trondheim as possible.
– I have nevertheless tried to find some kind of balance in how much I should compete and how much I should prioritize being at home and getting a workout. Things that I don’t really have the opportunity to get when you are on the World Cup weekends, she says in an interview with Radio Sports.

Therefore, Ebba chooses to take a break before the ski World Cup to gather the forces at home on Swedish soil. She has also set her sights on competing in Borås during the SM week.
– Since I have received quite a few competitions through the Tour de Ski, I feel that it is time to prioritize a little calm and a little more training here at home, she admits.
Andersson’s first and only pallet place for the season at the World Cup came in French Les Rousses. She knows that she knows much better than that and has two World Cup gold to defend as reigning world champion in Trondheim.
– How physically felt that day, then there is quite a lot to improve. It does.
