Dominique Pelicot must be heard on Thursday, January 30, at the “Cold Cases” pole of the Nanterre judicial court. He is indicted for rape, murder and attempted rape.
Dominique Pelicot would not have attached to his family. The 72 -year -old man is indicted in two new cases, and accused in a third, for facts dating from the 1990s. If his conviction is final in the Mazan rape case, he has not yet finished with justice. Indeed, this affair has found in several “Cold Cases”, that is to say unlocked cases dating back to several years. It is therefore summoned, Thursday, January 30, by investigating judge Nathalie Truquey, one of the three magistrates of the “Cold Cases” pole of the Nanterre court, for an interrogation, according to information from Bfmtv.
Two cases concerning young real estate agents
First of all, there is the rape and murder of Sophie Narme in 1991. The investigators found similarities in operating modes, which explains this indictment by Dominique Pelicot. As reminded RTLthe body of the young 23 -year -old real estate agent was discovered on Wednesday December 4, 1991 by her boss, in Paris. He went to the apartment she was visiting before disappearing. “I was immediately seized by a strong odor, as in a hospital, most likely ether,” he said to the police. This chemical submission mode is what allowed investigators to bring together Dominique Pelicot. The young woman would have been raped before being killed. She was half -naked, with a tight belt around her neck. Dominique Pelicot denies any involvement in this case.
The second case has many similarities. Still according to our colleagues from RTL, another real estate agent was attacked, this time in 1999. It is Marion (modified first name), 19 years old at the time of the facts, who was visiting an apartment in Villeparisis, in Seine -Et-Marne, to a man suspected of being Dominique Pelicot. He would also have knocked out with ether and threatened with a cutter blade under the neck, before undressing it. The young woman, still numb, would have succeeded in defending herself by grasping the testicles of the aggressor, thus leaving him enough time to lock herself in a cupboard. The alleged victim claims to stay 4 hours there, while man left, leaving behind drops of his blood. It was during the Mazan rape affair that this rape attempt rose to the surface. Indeed, Dominique Pelicot’s DNA was taken and correspondence was found with the DNA found thanks to the blood left on the spot.
Dominique Pelicot was placed in police custody in October 2022 in this case. He then admitted the facts when he was faced with this DNA discovery. According to information from BFMTV, he returned to this admission and denies any attempted rape since a second interrogation, in October 2023. He simply recognizes his presence on the scene and claims to have wanted to see the victim’s underwear, which s ‘is debated. This justification echoes the case which made it possible to reveal the abuses carried out on his ex-wife, Gisèle Pelicot. A security guard had surprised Dominique Pelicot filming under the skirt of a client in a supermarket. He had encouraged her to file a complaint, and the investigation made it possible to reveal the many rape proofs in the 72 -year -old computer.
Accused in a third case
In addition to these two “Cold Cases”, Dominique Pelicot is accused of attempted rape on a minor. The facts occurred in 1995, according to the alleged victim. Aged 12 at the time of the facts, she would have met a man, whom she identified as Dominique Pelicot, while he pretended to be an electrician to enter his Parisian home. According to information from M6 Info, he tried to use ether to put the teenager to sleep. It was the arrival of his mother in the apartment that made him flee. A complaint was filed by the girl in the wake of the facts, but the attacker was never found. It was on hearing about the Mazan rape affair that the alleged victim would have recognized the attacker. She presented herself last December to the Parisian judicial police to accuse Dominique Pelicot of this attempted rape on a minor.
