The F-35 fighter jet crashed in Alaska-the pilot survived | Brief news

The US Air Force F-35 fighter fell on Tuesday at the Eielson air base in Alaska.

The pilot managed to be rescued from the machine before it was plunged, the authorities say.

The accident happened during the flight exercise as the machine landed. The fighter pilot discovered the “flight dysfunction” and left the ship, the Air Force Major Paul Townsend described at a press conference.

The F-35 is the most expensive US Defense Forces project and the largest source of income from Lockheed Martin, a manufacturer of machinery. In 2021, Finland decided to order 64 F-35 fighters, the first of which is to be completed in the fall of 2025.
