Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederis and the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz did not mention in their statements to the press directly to Greenland or the US President Donald Trump.
The meeting in Berlin hit a time when Trump is on the idea of taking Greenland from Denmark to the United States in the name of international security.
However, in his statement, Scholz first stated in German that “boundaries should not be moved by force”. After that, he said in English, according to AFP, “Whatever anyone”.
Scholz also stated that German and Denmark was strong partners and close friends.
Frederikssen said that Denmark understands the importance of security policy and the value of the European Union.
