6 pm: students hit in Harmelen
Two students were hit by a motorist at a cross in Harmelen. That happened around 4.35 pm at the intersection of the mayor of Koningsbruggeweg and the Haanwijk. A victim was taken to the hospital with head injury, the second remained unharmed. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
7 pm: delay due to an accident A2 at Breukelen
An accident happened at Breukelen on the A2 in the direction of Utrecht. This makes the right -hand lane closed. What exactly happened is unclear. Due to the accident there is about 15 minutes of delay on the A2, the ANWB reports.
4.40 pm: Drunk driver drives boy and woman
A drunk driver hit a 7-year-old boy and a 76-year-old woman this afternoon on a cycle path in Woerden. The child was released with a fright, the woman was slightly injured.
12.29 am: industrial accident
A business accident took place at a high -voltage station on Peter van den Breemerweg in Soest. The victim, who had to go to the hospital, would have fallen from a jetty. Network manager Stedin cannot confirm this yet. The Labor Inspectorate is investigating the incident.

Residents of a flat on the Prinses Margrietlaan in Mijdrecht were awakened last night by fire in one of the basement boxes. Around 2.20 the smoke detector went off in the stairwell. Several homes were evacuated. Around 4.30 am the residents were able to return after the fire brigade had ventilated. What exactly has flamed is not known.
