Mayotte: Back to school at all costs despite the failures

Mayotte Back to school at all costs despite the failures

One hundred and fifteen thousand students of Mayotte returned to school from Monday, January 27 in degraded conditions, by rotation of classes, a month and a half after the ravages caused by the Chido cyclone. The start of the students, scheduled for January 13 in the French archipelago of the Indian Ocean, was first shifted to 20, then at 27, to deal with the damage caused by Chido, then by the Dikeledi storm. The Minister of Overseas, Manuel Valls, and the Minister of National Education, Elisabeth Borne, will go to the archipelago on Thursday 30 and Friday January 31.
