It is on the social media platform Instagram that Elias Ymer writes about the news that he is not participating in the Davis Cup meeting with Australia.
“Me and the national team captain (Simon Aspelin, editor’s note) had different views on what my upload should look like. I’m sure with a little flexibility, we could have worked this out – it’s not really a big deal,” he writes.
He says he was looking forward to facing one of the world’s best tennis nations.
“I know that you have to respect both sides in a discussion, but in this matter, unfortunately, I can’t even do that, it’s such a low level”.
Sweden’s meeting with Australia in the Davis Cup takes place from January 31 to February 1.
