The communication cable between Sweden and Latvia is damaged on Sunday in the Baltic Sea, the Latvian Broadcasting Company LSM says. The damaged cable runs between Ventspils and Gotland.
The cable operator LVTRC believes the damage is due to external harassment.
The Latvian Navy says they have immediately sent a scouting ship to investigate any damage to the damage.
