The Israel Defense Forces says in X that Israeli soldiers “fired on people who posed a real threat” in southern Lebanon. According to the Israelis, the soldiers had warned people with warning shots.
According to the Defense Forces, the Israeli soldiers also took prisoners who are being interrogated at the moment.
According to the Israeli Armed Forces, Israeli soldiers operate in the area “in accordance with the cease-fire agreement” and aim to prevent Hezbollah from operating in the area.
