The US President says he believes that the Greenland people want to be part of the United States.
US president Donald Trump says he believes that the United States “gets Greenland”. President commented on the Air Force One on Saturday night, BBC reported.
– I believe we will get it (Greenland). I believe the Greenlanders want to be with us, Trump said.
Trump once again questioned the grounds on which Denmark managed Greenland. He said he did not know “what Denmark’s demands are based”.
– It would be a very unfriendly act from them (Danes) if they did not let this happen because this would be done to protect the free world. It is not about the United States, but that we are the only ones who can offer freedom, Trump said.
According to Trump, the Danes are unable to do so.
