Continuation of one of the most successful series ever – it has been watched almost 100 million times

Almost two years ago, a new Netflix series, The Night Agent, was launched and became a mega hit. According to the BBC, season 1 already had around 812 million streams, which made the announcement of a sequel not surprising. Season 2 has just been released on the streaming service and The Night Agent stands as a result right back at the top the series top 10.

In Season 1, FBI Agent Peter Strickland (Gabriel Basso) must guard a telephone in the basement of the White House and follow precise instructions whenever it rings. He quickly finds himself in one Conspiracy that extends to the US President and beyond.

In season 2 Peter himself is on duty as a so-called Night Agent and the next conspiracy is already waiting. This time his investigation revolves around a high-ranking intelligence officer named Warren.
