Golf: Food poisoning Ludvig Åberg fell back in San Diego: “Vomited last night”

The Swede went out in a shared lead but did not look at all comfortable on the classic Torrey Pines course, where the wind from the second round had died down, where there were three bogeys in the first five holes.

After a while came the explanation.

– We have received information from Torrey Pines now and we have been told that Ludvig Åberg is not only sick – he actually has food poisoning and was up last night vomiting, said commentator Wille Schauman in Max.

Åberg fought back and made three birdies before it was time for the second lap of the round. However, the round ended in 74 strokes and the Swede is divided eight – five strokes American Harris English who leads.

The competition already started on Wednesday to avoid a clash with the NFL’s game schedule and has an end on Saturday.

To the leaderboard.
