US entrepreneurs have dominated the top spots for years. Successful businessmen were also at the top of the January list. In total, the ten richest people in the world own assets worth more than 1.8 trillion dollars.

The richest person in the world is currently a South African-born entrepreneur, billionaire Elon Musk. According to Forbes estimates, Musk’s fortune is about 433 billion dollars.

Second placed By Jeff Bezos assets are approximately $239 billion according to Forbes. In the 2021 listing, when Bezos was in first place, Forbes estimated this wealth at $177 billion.
