According to the minister, the purpose is to get an up-to-date picture of the situation and an account of measures taken in the short and long term, the government office tells TT.
“In the past month, we have seen no fatal gun violence, but all the more explosions in many places around the country. Just the last 24 hours in Uppsala, Haninge and Gothenburg,” Strömmer wrote on Instagram on Thursday.
On the night of Friday, the police were alerted due to new explosions in Eskilstuna, Malmö and Stockholm – where two people were injured, one of them seriously.

Strömmer writes that the purpose of the explosions is usually to create fear or exert pressure on people with criminal connections.
“And at the same time, it means enormous losses of privacy and security for completely innocent people who live in the same residential building or area”.
