On Wednesday Evening, Police Responded to a Robbery in Tilbury, where it was belief the thief the scene in a vehicle.

Despite an Extensive Search of the Immored Area, Investigators we unable to locate EITher a suspect or the vehicle.

However, The Vehicle Had Been Captured On A Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Camera in Chatham, Police Said in a Release Thursday.

An Officer Located The Vehicle and Made An Arrest Without Incident.

A Few Hours Later, Police Responded to A Call for Service in Chatham Involving An Elderly Person Who Had Not Returned Home from a Scheduled Appointment.

There we only concerns for the health of the missing person, considering the extreme cold temperatures.

Several unsuccessful attempts to locate the person and their vehicle were conducted by Members of front-line patrol.

Investigators revisited the CCTV System and Discovered the Vehicle Recently Had Been Spotted Several Kilometers Away, in the Dresden Area.

“Officers Quickly Converged on the Area and Found the Vehicle, Low On Fuel and the Driver Disoriented,” Police Said. “Thanks to the timely use of the cctv system, the individual was located before any harm could occur. The Person was safely Returned to their family, and Additional Support was Provided to Everyone Involved. ”

Police Added Investigators Were “Nordicantly Help” by the CCTV System Deployed Across Various Chatham-Kent Communities.
