An apartment was fired upon during the night to Friday in the area of ​​Valsta in Märsta, north of Stockholm. Several shots were fired at the door, but none of the people in the apartment were injured.

The police received an alert about the shooting at 02:21 and began an operation with, among other things, several dog patrols.

A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been launched.

He cannot say whether the shots went through the door and where in the apartment the people were.

It is clear, however, that the shots were fired from close range.

– The perpetrator has entered the stairwell.

Just over two hours after the shooting, the hunt for the perpetrator was still ongoing.

– We have a description and we believe we have caught the perpetrator on film. There are a large number of cameras in Valsta, says Ola Österling.
