The island of Ireland and Scotland are under the highest level red warning today due to storm Éowyn hitting the area. This is reported by, among others, the British Broadcasting Company BBC.
A rare red warning means that debris flying in the air can even cause danger to life.
The storm is estimated to be one of the strongest in Ireland, and the wind can occasionally reach hurricane numbers, says Irish Independent. According to forecasts, the wind can blow in gusts at around 40 meters per second.
