(Finance) – Another 250 million euros is on the way for the former Ilva. The Council of Ministers – chaired by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni – has in fact a law decree was approved which introduces urgent measures to ensure the continuity of production and employment at the former Ilva plants. This was reported in the press release from Palazzo Chigi on the Council of Ministers.
As stated in the statement released at the end of the meeting, “pending the finalized tender procedure to the definitive transfer of the company complex to third parties, the introduced rules expand, bringing it dfrom 150 to 400 million, the right to use the assets already earmarked for environmental restoration purposes for production continuity purposes”.
Also on the table of the Council of Ministers – which lasted about 20 minutes – was the Daniela Santanchè case which continues to agitate the majority, but also the Consulta conundrum, with the election of the four new judges still at stake. Present – among others – was the Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanchè, at the center of the investigation into the accounts of Visibilia Editore.
“Daniela Santanchè has nothing to declare because there is nothing to declare”replies the staff of the Minister of Tourism, questioned by ANSA regarding the hypothesis that the issue of resignations had been addressed in that meeting.
