Sentenced in 2022 for domestic violence
Among the Insoumis, the 34-year-old man also served as Coordinator of the party’s operational team from June 22, 2019 to September 18, 2022, replacing Manuel Bompard, during his mandate as a parliamentarian in the National Assembly.
But in 2022, he is forced to withdraw from political life due to a domestic violence case in which he is involved. His wife has just filed a complaint against him. Sentenced to four months in prison, he was then suspended from his group in the lower house of Parliament, before being reinvested by LFI to attempt a new mandate in his constituency for the legislative elections.
After the various controversies linked to his person, he decided to withdraw his candidacy, giving way to Aurélien Le Coq, who was finally elected. Adrien Quatennens should now lead a more orderly life, far from the tumult of the hemicycle and the political crisis that the country is going through since the dissolution of the National Assembly by the President of the Republic.
