Horror fans, comedy fanatics and series addicts have to be brave now, because What We Do in the Shadows is coming to an end. But there is still one last chapter in the vampire saga about the bloodsucker clique from Staten Island – and that is Now available to stream on local Disney+. As a big farewell, there are eleven final episodes to see, one more than in the previous seasons.
The final season of horror-comedy What Whe Do in the Shadows on Disney+: Farewell to the vampire flat share
In the sixth and final season of the mockumentary, Guillermo (Harvey Guillen) wonders what he wants to do with his mortal life after his brief existence as an immortal vampire wasn’t to his liking. The unusual Van Helsing ancestor had always dreamed of finally becoming one of the children of the night, which is why he is not sure how he will spend the rest of his life.
Guillermo actor Guillen recently told Dealine: “It’s never too late to find yourself. It’s never too late to be reborn and reinvent yourself. And there’s no ticking time bomb expiration date on what dreams and hopes can come true.”
Also the rest of the Vampire shared apartment is changingwhen they remember that they have forgotten for years to wake their fellow Jerry (Mike O’Brien) from his super slumber. Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), Laszlo (Matt Berry) and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) realize how little they have achieved in the last 50 years. The subjugation of the New World has still not progressed further than its own neighborhood.
The WWDITS final season is also not stingy with guest stars
The season’s prominent guest stars include British comedy legend Steve Coogan as Laszlo’s father Lord Cravensworth, Kevin Pollak as TV investigator Cal Bodian, Zach Woods as Colin’s former colleague Joel and Jon Glaser as a demon. In addition, the tradition remains Actors from vampire films and series to invite guests for guest appearances and was able to win True Blood star Alexander Skarsgård for the final season.
What We do in the Shadows is based on the New Zealand comedy film of the same name (in German: 5 Zimmer Küche Sarg) with Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement, who are producers of the American TV version. Their final season is from January 22, 2025 available on Disney+.
