Kristine Stavå’s Skistad defeated all Swedes this weekend.
In Norway, rival Jonna Sundling is now singled out after the race.
– Jonna has low self-confidence when she meets Kristine, says expert Niklas Dyrhaug in Norwegian Viaplay.
So far, it has been a very messy season for the Norwegian skiing star Kristine Stavå’s Ski City. Over the weekend she made a comeback at the World Cup again and showed everyone why she is one of the world’s best sprinters.
Stavås Skistad’s success
Stavås Skistad met three Swedish women in the sprint final in Les Rousses and made a big impression by defeating all three. Where Emma Ribom missed the podium, Jonna Sundling came third and Maja Dahlqvist came second behind the Norwegian.

It was Kristine’s first World Cup victory of the season and she has really found her form for the upcoming World Ski Championships.
– My job is to stress the Swedes. I think I succeeded in that today, she tells the Norwegian newspaper VG after the race.
Play against Sundling
Kristine Stavå’s Skistad is highly praised after the race at home in Norway.
– She plays with the Swedes and wins as she wants, despite the fact that it costs a lot and that she is far from top form, says the Norwegian skiing expert Petter S. Skinstad in TV2.
– She sets the agenda and completely dominates in this sprint. Then the Swedes have to react to her tactics. Before Christmas, Sundling was able to dominate the sprints on his terms. But now there is a feeling in Sundling that she is no longer in control. Kristine is a crazy winner, says her own coach Created by Sofienlund in a statement and continues:
– Until the operation, Kristine did fantastic, dedicated work without interruption. After the operation, she has been extremely good at not rushing off and getting too excited.

Jonna Sundling has so far dominated the sprint at the World Cup, but now faces strong competition in the fight for the WC gold. The Swede has won two straight WC gold in sprints and is also the reigning Olympic champion.
– Jonna has low self-confidence when she meets Kristine, says the skiing expert Niklas Dyrhaug in Norwegian Viaplay.
The answer to Norway
A strong move against the Swede, who he thinks is inferior in the fight against the Norwegian, especially when it comes to the mental side. Sundling then gives answers to speeches after the harsh words in Norway.
– Then he probably knows more than me. I don’t think I have low self-confidence, she tells Expressen.
– I don’t see her (Stavås Skistad) as anything special. It’s probably only the rest of you who do.

Jonna was also happy with her third place in Les Rousses and she is second in the overall standings for the sprint cup.
– I like challenges and it was fun that it went well today. You can say that this course suited Kristine well, says Jonna in the SVT broadcast.
