Mali is celebrating the 64th anniversary of its army this Monday, January 20. On this occasion, the transitional president, General Assimi Goïta, addressed Malians this Sunday evening on state television, ORTM. He mentioned the construction of a memorial for the soldiers who fell on the field of honor, in Kati, a garrison town near Bamako. Assimi Goïta above all announced his desire to provide the country with construction factories, or rather weapons assembly factories. At this stage, it is a project, of which the Malian transitional president has only revealed a few details.
