Fans are celebrating a new tool for Path of Exile 2 and can finally play properly

Path of Exile 2 has received an unofficial tool that many players have been looking forward to. Some even go so far as to say that the game is only now really playable.

What kind of tool is this? We’re talking about a build simulator for Path of Exile 2, called Path of Building. It doesn’t come from the developer himself, but from the community. The first part already had a similar tool that allowed you to experiment with different builds.

The advantage: You don’t have to log into the game, but can combine skills, equipment and items outside of it and test how well a build will work.

For example, the damage of a build can be calculated. The tool is primarily intended for ambitious players who want to get the most out of the complex skill system and the countless possible combinations of items and equipment.

As we know, the skill tree alone can be overwhelming – so it doesn’t hurt to get an overview in advance. The release of the Build Simulator is causing great joy in the community.

What do the players say? For some parts of the community, Build Simulator isn’t just a nice addition. Rather, the release is an important step for these players.

Some even go so far as to say that Path of Exile 2 is only now complete:

  • “We can finally play the real game,” writes user POEAccount12345 on reddit.
  • “The best day of my life,” says Lucas enthusiastically on x.com.
  • “Official launch of the game,” SimbaXp calls the release of the tool on reddit.
  • “The Build Wars have begun,” writes SQRTLURFACE, alluding to Master Yoda from Star Wars.
  • However, there is also criticism, at least regarding the current state of the Build Simulator:

  • “Right now some nodes are completely broken and returning errors or not doing what they say,” writes Pidgeon__v3 on reddit.
  • “It’s not even worth using because it’s so buggy and crappy,” says sanguine_sea on reddit.
  • Some bugs and errors that currently exist will be fixed in the future. Those interested can download the Build Simulator from github.com. You can also find all information about improvements and bug fixes there.

All in all, the Build Simulator has been well received by the community despite initial errors. If you want to get deep into Path of Exile 2, you can use the tool to create the perfect build.
