A 10-year-old reported missing on Saturday was found, say Brantford police.
The Brantford Police Service issued a news release at about noon on Sunday advising the public that missing “Athena” had been safely located.
“We would like to thank the public for their concern and information,” said the release.
No information was provided on where the child was located.
In an earlier release, police said the girl was last seen on Rawdon Street at about 4 pm on Friday.
Police issued an initial release on Sunday morning, asking members of the public for assistance in locating the girl.
At that time Brantford Police said they were concerned for the girl’s wellbeing and asked for any information which may assist in locating her.
Police urged residents to check their CCTV systems and report anything that could help in locating the child.
