With three goals, Elisa Holopainen led Frölunda to a 6-2 home victory in the ice hockey SDHL.
Moved from KalPa to Frölunda last summer Elisa Holopainen has started strongly in the Swedish ice hockey series in the SDHL.
On Sunday, the 23-year-old Finnish comet scored a hat trick and scored his team’s first, second and sixth goals in a 6–2 victory against Skellefteå.
Holopainen manages the goals and points exchange at SDHL. In the 30 matches he has played, he has collected 22+18=40/+37.
Holopainen has previously won the points and goals exchange of the women’s SM league in several seasons and was selected as the league’s best player. He has also been recognized as the best striker of the 2019 Under-18 World Cup tournament.
Frölunda is third in the series after Luluaja and second place MoDo.
In any case, the Finns are well represented in Sweden’s puck statistics this season, as the top three in both the goals and points market are held by the blue and whites.
Lulejan Petra Nieminen is second in statistics in two categories with the most power 21+17=38, Frölundan Michele Karvinen third in goal statistics (17) and Luulajan Viivi Vainikka the third point exchange with 15+20=35 points.
