The three women, Romi Gonen, 24, Emily Damari, 28, and Doron Steinbrecher, 31, will first be handed over to the Red Cross and then taken to a special army unit in the Gaza Strip, according to Qatar-based media company Al Jazeera.
The Israeli military, the IDF, has shared photos of a center set up for the reception and says the Air Force is also involved in the reception. The military has shared images from an army helicopter it says is being prepared for use at the reception.
