(Finance) – During the night between Thursday and Friday the American Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) had to block or divert some flights due to debris related to the explosion linked to the seventh head of the Starship Of SpaceX.
“In the flight test conducted during the night, in capsule of the SpaceX Starship ship a fire broke out which led to the destruction of the vehicle and any debris is expected to have fallen into the Safety Zone expected when planning the flight,” the company explained on its website. The safety zone in question was at sea off the coast of Turks and Caicos, north of Haiti.
However, the test proved to be a success for Elon Musk’s company: in fact for the second time the recovery of the launcher – the most innovative part of the program Super Heavy – it went smoothly, with the return of the boosters on the launch tower.
