(Finance) – Altea Green Powera company listed on Euronext STAR Milan and active in the development and construction of plants for the production of renewable energy, announced that the MASE (Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security) has authorized the project of an electrochemical storage plant (BESS Storage) of the power of 200 MW located in Basilicata, in the municipality of Genzano di Lucania, already the subject of the agreement stipulated in July 2022 with Aer Soléir, an Irish group among the main players in the energy sector in Europe.
The Genzano di Lucania project, included in the AGP e Industrial Plan authorized in 21 monthsis made up of two autonomous and equivalent plant sections, each with a power of 100 MW, will be connected to the future expansion of Terna’s RTN station and will have an electrical power, input and output, of 200 MW.
The overall value of the BESS Storage project exceeds 17.5 million euros; has already had an economic impact on AGP’s accounts of approximately 8.6 million euros in 2024 and will have an impact of a further 8.9 million euros in 2025, and will produce cash flows in favor of AGP up to 13 million euros in the next 15/18 months.
