The Tier List for Season 7 in Diablo 4 shows you the best builds in German for all classes in the endgame. MeinMMO explains the builds to you and provides links for rebuilding.
Which is the best class in Season 7? At the moment it looks like Necromancers and Druids are by far the classes with the strongest builds. How the changes will affect the release of the season remains to be seen.
The S-tier builds in the short overview
This is how we created the list
We include different data for the tier list. Currently it is based on the results of the Season 7 PTR and the changes coming with the Season 7 release.
The assessments from Diablo expert and build Therycrafter Rob are particularly important for our ranking. You can find his data in his Google Doc.
The list will change several times in the coming weeks, especially as it becomes clear how much the new Witch powers from Season 7 really influence the builds.
Our Tier List covers all endgame activities for Diablo 4, with the Pit serving as a benchmark. The builds are not always best suited for PvP, speed grinds and level builds. Keep in mind that all builds require you to have Vessel of Hatred in order to use runewords.
What do “S” to “F” mean? In the Tier List the builds are categorized by letters. In this case, “S” represents the best builds while “F” denotes the worst.

S Tier: The best builds in Season 7
The builds in this tier are almost unbeatable and are suitable not only for the pit, but for almost any content in the game. Even with potential weaknesses, they are stronger than any other build.
Bloodwave Necromancer
This makes the build strong
Blutwelle is getting new uniques in Season 7 – one of which is Kessime’s Legacy. The pants cause waves of blood to flow towards you, drawing enemies in before they explode for high damage. This damage is increased each time an enemy is hit by a wave. You play the build completely without minions.
“Felsican” Druid
This makes the build strong
As things stand, probably the strongest build in the entire game is the “Felsican” druid, a mix of boulders and hurricanes. With the unique Dolmenstone Amulet, your boulder will rotate around you when you cast it during Hurricane. You can use your witch powers to poison nearby enemies. The Legendary Paragon Node “Empowered Malice” grants you massive multiplicative damage when poisoned enemies are nearby.
Cuttingwing Spiritborn (possibly A only)
This makes the build strong
Cutting Wings spread feathers around you that you can use for various synergies. In Season 7, the number of feathers and their damage have been increased. You let the feathers rotate around you and collect enemies in one place in order to hit them with as many feathers as possible. The build plays similar to the Chakram Demon Hunter from Diablo 3.
A Tier: Strong builds for the endgame in Season 7
A-tier builds are generally slightly weaker than those in the S-tier, but offer a wider range of playstyles that may suit you better. If you’re not trying to dominate the leaderboards, you can’t go wrong here.
HotA Earthquake Barbarian (S-tier potential)
This makes the build strong
Both Hammer of the Ancients (HotA) and Earthquake received a big buff in Season 7 – directly or via Legendaries. The new Unique Mantle of the Mountain’s Fury also ensures a strong synergy between the two skills. You literally explode into shaking earth around you.
Mighty Throwing Barbarian
This makes the build strong
Basically a long-range build for barbarians: you throw your weapon – or several of them – and benefit from some buffs as long as the thrown axes or swords are stuck in the ground. Meanwhile, the new witch power Piranhado eats through opponents and pulls them together.
Rend Druid
This makes the build strong
The changes to ultimate abilities make Rend significantly more powerful. With this build you permanently run around as a werewolf and… well, tear enemies apart. Empowered Malice multiplies your damage.
Spike Volley Spiritborn
This makes the build strong
The formerly strongest S-tier build from Season 6 is still strong in Season 7, despite some nerfs. You benefit from barriers and the fact that the legendary node Tough Shield increases your damage while you have a barrier. Unlike Season 6, however, you play with the Exiled Prince’s Talisman amulet to take advantage of the overpower mechanic.
Arrow hail hunter
This makes the build strong
The build is pretty straight forward: you’re raining down lots and lots of arrows from the sky and elsewhere. By strengthening the ultimates, hail of arrows is significantly stronger. You reset the skill with barrage.
Dance of the Knife Hunters
This makes the build strong
A spin to win build. Dance of the Knives is one of the new skills from Season 6 and works the same way in Season 7, only stronger. You throw knives wildly in circles, while dodging attacks and repeatedly pulling enemies in to lure them into your knives.
Bloodspear Necromancer
This makes the build strong
A variation of the Bone Spear that plays with Blood Wave and the new Unique Indira’s Memory. This turns Bone Spear into a Blood Wave and Blood Wave into a Bone Skill with additional effects. You make enemies vulnerable with Bone Spear and at the same time deal damage with Blood Wave.
Army of the Dead Necromancer
This makes the build strong
A classic minion build and one of the few that doesn’t completely forego necromancer companions. The build is quite simple: you weaken opponents and unleash an undead army on them.
Blizzard Wizard
This makes the build strong
Finally usable again after several seasons: Frost spells received strong buffs in Season 7. Blizzard and Deep Freeze become useful builds again. As a Blizzard wizard, you immerse the entire screen in a hail of ice and watch as enemies freeze and explode into frozen shards.
Firebolt Wizard
This makes the build strong
Set enemies on fire and throw fire around you. That’s essentially what you’re doing with this build. The changes to Firebolt give you a chance to cast even more Firebolt. Hot.
Ball Lightning Wizard (possibly B-Tier only)
This makes the build strong
It is not yet entirely certain how strong the build will really be. Ball lightning wizards were one of the strongest builds of the last few seasons, where you let lightning balls circle around you, grilling opponents. The new Unique Okuns Catalyst makes the build a little stronger.
B Tier: The solid midfield
B-tier builds are sometimes experimental or have weaknesses in certain content. Often they can only be used in a very specialized way, for example only for bosses or only for farming. Although they are generally weaker than the builds of the higher tiers, they are particularly useful in group play.
Whirlwind Barbarian
Cataclysm Druid
Rapid Fire (Poison) Hunter
Screwblade Hunter
Bonestorm Necromancer
Flame Death Wizard
Freeze Wizard (possibly C tier only)
C Tier: Off-meta builds for more choice
In the C tier you will find builds that still make it to the endgame, but fall behind the other builds quite quickly. But if you’re looking for something that suits your gaming style, you’ll find the right thing here, especially for relaxed gaming.
Iron Maelstrom Barbarian
Thunderstorm Druid
F Animal: Stay away!
The builds in this tier are so relatively poor that they struggle with endgame content and are not worth investing gold and time into – unless you really want to play them. But don’t expect great success.
By the way, the new witch powers from Season 7 all have a certain connection to the past. More precisely: to a class from the predecessor. Blizzard didn’t bring back the witch doctor, but at least parts of him: Diablo 4 brings back one of the most popular classes from Diablo 3, but differently than you think
