American former tennis player Pam Shriver had 12 of her grand slam trophies stolen on Wednesday after she evacuated the devastating fires in Los Angeles, she told ESPN.
The trophies were in her car, which was parked outside the hotel where she is staying temporarily. On Thursday morning local time, she discovered that the car was gone.
During his career, the 62-year-old won a total of 22 doubles titles in tennis’ four biggest tournaments.
