The new trailer of Mortal Kombat 1 excited fans with Conan the Barbarian’s Brutality and the transformation of the T-1000 Terminator.
Warner Bros. Games, Mortal Kombat 1 released a new trailer for and in this trailer details of two special characters were revealed. While Conan the Barbarian displays an impressive Brutality where he slices his opponent in half with his iconic sword, the T-1000 Terminator’s transition from liquid metal to human form makes a nostalgic reference to the movie Terminator 2. It was announced that Conan was based on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s face, but his voiceover was not featured. T-1000 was voiced by Robert Patrick, ensuring an authentic presentation of the character.
How Are Conan and the T-1000 Involved in Mortal Kombat 1?
Conan the Barbarian will launch into early access on January 21 as part of the Khaos Reigns expansion and will be available to all players a week later. Conan’s full gameplay details will be shared during the Kombat Kast broadcast tomorrow. On the other hand, the release date of T-1000 Terminator has not been announced yet, but it has been confirmed that he is the last DLC character of the expansion pack.
Conan’s Brutality and T-1000’s liquid metal transformation in the trailer once again reveal the visual richness and nostalgic details that Mortal Kombat 1 offers to the players. The expansion pack also includes other popular characters such as Cyrax, Sektor, Noob Saibot and Ghostface.
Warner Bros. announced that Mortal Kombat 1 has sold more than four million copies worldwide and that long-term support is planned for the series following this success.
