Every year implements Norges Automobil-Forbund (NAF) and the Norwegian magazine Motor a large test to determine the range of different electric cars in real conditions.
The official WLTP range figures for electric cars are set at a temperature of 23 degrees, but when it gets cold, electric cars generally lose range. To determine how much range different electric cars lose, a test is run in the summer and one in the winter.
In this year’s winter test, 24 electric cars took part, all of which were driven until they completely ran out of electricity and stopped.
