Problems for the commuter trains in Stockholm after extensive track faults

An extensive track fault between Tumba and Södertälje causes severe delays and many canceled departures in Stockholm’s commuter train traffic during the morning.

“Your journey may take significantly longer than usual,” writes SL on its website.

The problems affect lines 40, 41 and 43.

There is currently no forecast for when traffic can go as usual again.

The traffic situation

Commuter train on line 43 which goes Kallhäll – Handen and vice versa during the morning and afternoon are cancelled.

Commuter train line 40 only runs between Älvsjö and Uppsala C.

Commuter train line 41 only runs between Tumba and Märsta/Upplands Väsby.

Buses replace between Tumba and Södertälje centre.
