Harkirat Bhullar, whose last stop was in Western Canada, was announced in a release issued Tuesday.

“We are delighted to welcome Dr. Bhullar to CKHA,” Zeke Milkovic, acting chief of staff, said in the release. “He is an experienced, community-oriented physician and will be a great addition to our hospital, making a positive impact on the families in our community.”

Bhullar brings his medical experience from India, where he practiced in several hospitals from 2009 to 2021.

He pursued additional training in Alberta, completing a neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship at the University of Calgary. Bhullar relocated to Ontario earlier this month to join the health alliance.

“I am delighted to join the compassionate and dedicated team at CKHA,” Bhullar said. “Providing comprehensive pediatric care to families in the community is a privilege, and I look forward to building meaningful relationships while contributing to the health and well-being of children in the region.”
