10:21 – 19 departments still on yellow alert
In its 10 a.m. update, Météo France slightly changed its vigilance for the departments placed on yellow alert this Wednesday. There are only 19 left to be placed on alert for “very cold” and or “snow-ice”. The weather station specifies the “persistence of some slippery phenomena in the Grand-Est this Wednesday morning”.
09:40 – The 25 departments placed on yellow “severe cold” vigilance
This Wednesday, Météo France placed 25 departments on yellow alert for “very cold”. Here is the list of territories concerned: Aube, Cher, Côte-d’Or, Doubs, Indre, Jura, Loir-et-Cher, Loire, Loire-Atlantique, Loiret, Haute-Marne, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle, Nièvre, Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin, Haute-Saône, Saône-et-Loire, Deux-Sèvres, Vendée, Vienne, Vosges, Yonne and the Territoire de Belfort.
