In Benin, the Court for the Repression of Economic Offenses and Terrorism (Criet) notified on Tuesday the influential businessman Olivier Boko, ex-friend of President Patrice Talon, and the former Minister of Sports, Oswald Homeky, the charges against them and the date of their trial, which will therefore be held on January 21. Boko and Homeky were arrested in September 2024 on suspicion of preparing a coup.
