Inspired by the book Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became a Champion, Unstoppable is a biopic which tells the true story of the rise of Anthony Robles, an athlete born with only one leg who became a wrestling champion.
First film directed by William Goldenberg (awarded an Oscar for editingArgo), Unstoppable features a cast of stars including Jharrel Jerome (Moonlight, In their eyes), Bobby Cannavale (The Watcher), Michael Pena (Ant-Man), Don Cheadle (Iron Man 2 and 3) and Jennifer Lopez (Love at first sight in Manhattan, Mother).
Note also that the real Anthony Robles is credited in the film as “Anthony Robles double” since he performed stunts and wrestling moves, in addition to having accompanied Jharrel Jerome in his training for the role .
