No more frozen car windows and doors with this product

In a single pass, this product protects window and door seals when it freezes. It is also very economical!

During the winter, most motorists have a common enemy: frost. When temperatures plummet and become negative, frost gradually forms with humidity on car windows and bodies. As a result, in the mornings and evenings, it is not uncommon to see drivers busy scraping their frozen windshields or trying to open their doors. There is nothing worse than realizing, once you have finished defrosting everything, that your door opening is blocked by frost, just like the car windows. And yet, this can easily be avoided.

How ? By using a simple product that everyone has at home. Indeed, on the TikTok network, the @jonathanconiconseils account shared a video of a simple and economical technique to protect the seals of the doors and windows of your car when it is freezing outside. Because yes, we don’t always think about it, but frost doesn’t only stick to glass surfaces. And by opening your door or windows insistently, if the seals are frozen, they can quickly become damaged, which may require repair by a mechanic.

To avoid having to find yourself in this kind of situation, simply use a fatty substance such as vegetable cooking oil. In his video, @jonathanconiconseils dips a microfiber cloth in a little vegetable oil, then passes his mop directly over the window seals. “Don’t hesitate to do the interior as well”he advises before adding “this will prevent the gel from damaging the joints.”

For the doors, it’s the same thing: with the cloth lightly soaked in oil, grease the seals of the various doors and even the trunk if necessary. Thanks to this technique, the seals of your car doors and windows will be protected from frost. Of course, it is better to do this a few days before a frost episode is announced in the weather forecast.
