    At least 17 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes against the Gaza Strip, health workers in the area told AP late Tuesday.

    In one of the cases, eleven bodies were found after a projectile hit a house in Deir al-Balah. Another six people were found to have been killed and seven injured in raids on the Nuseirat refugee camp.

    Israel’s military has not commented on the attacks, but the country maintains that the military only targets people belonging to militant groups.

    The attacks came after at least 18 people, including two women and four children, were killed in attacks on Gaza on Tuesday night.
